How do I eat BP-5s?

BP-5s™ is ready when disaster strikes and can be eaten straight from the package as a bar or crumbled into hot, potable water and eaten as a porridge. If eaten dry, remember to get adequate hydration.

When should I eat BP-5s?

BP-5s is intended as an emergency food, as a substitute for your typical diet to give your body the complete nutrition and energy it needs for survival.

How should I store BP-5s and how long is its shelf-life?

Non-perishable BP-5s bars are vacuum-packed inside protective, recyclable cardboard boxes for easy storage – at home, in your office, in your vehicles, and in your survival grab-and-go bags. Store below 86°F (30°C). Consume bars within 72 hours after breaking vacuum seal. For convenience and peace of mind, BP-5s boxes have a five-year shelf-life, with a “best before” date printed on the bottom of the boxes.

Can I eat BP-5s after the “best before” date printed on the box? 

Yes, stored properly BP-5s bars are safe to eat even after best by expiration, but they may become a little dry and may lose some of their nutritional value.

What are BP-5s BARS made from?

Original BP-5s bars are made from non-GMO ingredients: wheat flour, vegetable fat (RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil), soy protein, and sugar.

Chocolate BP-5s bars are made from non-GMO ingredients: wheat flour, vegetable fat (RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil), skim milk, sugar, and cocoa.

Vanilla BP-5s bars are made from non-GMO ingredients: wheat flour, vegetable fat (RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil), skim milk, sugar, and artificial vanilla flavor.

How much life-saving nutrition is in one serving of BP-5s?

Each box of BP-5s contains nine individually wrapped bars for easy portions and provides balanced nutrition for one adult for one full day (standard caloric intake), equal to two days survival rations. Each serving of BP-5s delivers the essential nutrition your body needs to survive during an emergency, including 270 calories, 7g protein (8g for the Original variety), and 35g carbohydrates (36g for the Vanilla variety). Per box, this is equal to 2430 calories, 63g protein (72g for the Original variety), and 315 carbohydrates (324 for the Vanilla variety). WHAT DO THE THREE VARIETIES OF BP-5S TASTE LIKE?

Original BP-5s bars have a neutral taste. Chocolate BP-5s bars offer a light-cocoa flavor. And Vanilla BP-5s bars offer a slightly sweeter flavor. Now there is a taste for everyone!

All BP-5s varieties are light and crispy, never greasy like some other emergency rations.
